It has 4 built-in program versions (3.5, 4.5, 5.5, 7.0) to perfectly adapt to the OEM 3/4/5/7 Series Vertical Pellet Smokers respectively. You can simply select the corresponding program version to match your Vertical Pellet Smoker Model when you first boot it up.

Choose a Corresponding Program Version for Your Smoker (Refer to User Manual or video displayed above for more details.)

Enter the Program Version Setting Mode: 1. Press and hold the F/C Button when unelectrified (UNPLUG). 2. Plug and turn on the unit. 3. Release the F/C button. 4. Press the Power Button to enter the Program Version Setting Mode. 5. Select a program version for your smoker.

Indicating the Current Program Version: - Rotate the Knob onto SMOKE: Display shows the current program version P-3, P-4, P-5, or P-7 (for Series 3/4/5/7 Vertical Pellet Smoker respectively); C-3 for 3-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker. - Rotate the Knob onto 150°, display shows C-3 for 3-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker. - Press the F/C Button to confirm, the corresponding version will be displayed as "P-3". - Disconnect the power source to exit the Program Version Setting Mode.

C-4 for 4-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker: - Rotate the Knob onto 175°, display shows C-4 for 4-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker. - Press the F/C Button to confirm, the corresponding version will be displayed as "P-4". - Disconnect the power source to exit the Program Version Setting Mode.

C-5 for 5-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker: - Rotate the Knob onto 200°, display shows C-5 for 5-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker. - Press the F/C Button to confirm, the corresponding version will be displayed as "P-5". - Disconnect the power source to exit the Program Version Setting Mode.

C-7 for 7-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker: - Rotate the Knob onto 225°, display shows C-7 for 7-Series Vertical Pellet Smoker. - Press the F/C Button to confirm, the corresponding version will be displayed as "P-7". - Disconnect the power source to exit the Program Version Setting Mode.

New Version Circuit Board is More Secure and Economic (Refer to Igniter Short Circuit Test in video displayed) Igniter short circuit will always lead to fuse burning up or even control board damage on the old version circuit board. The new designed igniter controlling circuit can utterly prevent the controller from burning up due to the short circuit of the igniter rod. In most cases, even the fuse will stay in good condition when igniter short circuit occurs.

UPGRADED CIRCUIT: The upgraded circuit board is designed to prevent the controller from burning out in the event of a short circuit in the ignitor rod. In many cases, even the fuse will remain undamaged when a short circuit occurs.

PRIME: Manually feed pellets by "Prime" for quicker heat recovery time or to increase the intensity of clean smoke flavor.
